Amateur Golf Rules Apply

This is a friendly league but we are playing with money on the line and relying on each others honesty… So don’t cheat.

Out Of Bounds

OB Stakes will be treated as a Hazard. Drop a ball near where the ball may have crossed out and play your new ball. Do not play a ball from OB even if you find it…. it’s OB.

Maximum Score

Double Par is Max Score per hole, however you can not pick your ball up until you are on the green. So on a PAR 4 if you are not on the green until your 10th shot you would get an 11 for that hole.

Gimmie’s

Pars, Birdies, & Bogies need to hit the bottom of the cup. Anything after that “Gimmies” are allowed within 2 feet but must be offered by the group and not asked for.

If you are given a gimmie and then you putt the ball and miss, that counts as a stroke and you need to actually sink the ball to earn your score.

Score Cards

Both Carts need to keep score and turn in the actual scorecards after every round. It’s much easier for me to reference them this way when entering the scores

Breakfast Balls and Mulligans

1 Breakfast ball on the first tee box is the only mulligan allowed.

Fluffling, Moving, and Foot Wedges

NO FLUFFING..”Play the ball as it lies Happy!” – If your ball is on an unplayable surface (ex; root, mud, unplayable sand, etc) you can get 1 club length relief without getting any closer to the hole

Scoring and Average (AOP = Average Over Par)

Average will be reset weekly. Rolling Average all season.

Point system is based on both Actual and AOP finish each round played. 16 point for 1st place then ascending order to 10th place. 6 points is minimum earned each week unless you are absent from scheduled round, then you will earn 4 points.

Substitutions

Subs will be allowed for missed rounds. The Missing League player will get their average score for the missed round.
